Double Stick Carpet Underlay Installation Method – Lay out the underlay onto the sub-floor & always install the underlay in a 90° angle underneath the length of the carpet to avoid matching of seams in underlay and carpet. Use good quality tack adhesive to stick the underlay on sub floor.

Install ECCR DURAFORT 5 underlay with the stitch paper side up and use double stick adhesive to install the carpet on top of Durafort stitch paper.

Lay the carpet into the wet adhesive and smooth out any fullness or air bubbles with a Glider. DURAFORT 5 is also suitable for the stretch fit carpet installation method.
