AcousTEC 5mm acoustic underlay is a high-performance soundproofing floor underlay solution designed for carpet, wood and laminate flooring.

5mm AcousTEC underlay has solid rubber structure that helps the hard floor to lay firm on heavy wear and tear yet provides a high degree of soundproof or acoustic performance on hard floors. Its compact structure keeps performing without losing thickness over decades.

The underlay is glued down on the base surface to lay the underlay fix and firm on the concrete or wooden surface. (Make sure the base surface is free of moisture and dirt). On the top of underlay then glue again to install the timber-wood floor as finish floor. The recommended glue use for AcousTEC 5 must be an acrylic, water-based or PU base binder use to stick rubber to concrete. Please avoid any solvent based glue which might affect the binding of underlay badly.
