Maintenance for Interlocking Gym Tiles

Fitmat Interlock 10 gym tiles are easy to clean and maintain. Maintenance of this rubber flooring mats typically includes:

• Vacuuming any loose dust, dirt, or debris from the rubber surface when necessary.
• Occasional damp mopping of the rubber mats with a mild soap and water mixture. Some soaps commonly used include Dawn dish detergent and/or Tide laundry detergent.

Note: Do not use any solvent or oil style cleaners such as Pinesol, Lysol, Murphy’s Oil Soap, WD40, paint thinner, etc. since these types of cleaners will break down the binding strength of rubber flooring over time.

How to cut border & corner rubber gym interlocking tiles?

1) Lay out the gym flooring tile on the floor. Use a straight edge, mark the line where you need to cut with your chalk and make sure the line is straight and visible.

2) Then, place your straight edge on the marked line firmly and use sharp utility knife to score the line two to three times and proceed to cut.

3) Next, grab the gym flooring tiles close to the line where you cut and bend it towards you. The line will break open when you do this.

4) Lastly, lay the tiles back on the floor and score the same line a few more times working down until the cut is complete.

5) Perfect, it’s done. You can start to install accordingly.
